Hello lovelies!
Today my sisters and I are going to share with you how we styled 3 dresses of the same style from eShakti! We absolutely adore these practical frocks, and they are SO easy to style and dress up (or down!) however we please. Really perfect, if you ask me.

It's funny the way sisters work: first one (me) purchases a dress, then after it arrives and the other sisters see how absolutely fabulous it is, they want to order one too! Well, that's what it amounted to for we girls, and I think I can safely say for all of us that we seriously ADORE our khaki frocks!

eShakti Dress // Thrifted Vest // Kohl's Shoes
Jessica looks simply delightful in her autumnal-esque ensemble. The muted tones make for a sedate, rustic feel, while her gorgeous vest adds the boldness and interest which the color story lacks.
eShakti Dress // Handmade Blouse + Headband // Gifted Earrings // DSW Shoes (Crown Vintage)
Brigid styles her frock with vintage undertones and periwinkle brights. Her bow-front blouse draws the eyes up to her face, and the overall look of her shirt gives the otherwise boring dress character. She readily models the pockets, about which all of we girls are so thrilled to have in such a perfect piece of cake!
eShakit Dress // Estate Sale Scarf // JCPenny Boots // Target Belt
I bedecked my khaki in a more bohemian/vintage mode, with my scarf, furry booties, and edge-y, geometric belt channeling almost a gypsy style. This ensemble features some of my favorite Autumnal wardrobe accessories, which makes it all the better :)
We girls are anticipating wearing our gowns to Bible Bee this November, as there is a day in which the volunteers are required to wear either white, black or khaki. Our hopes are on these dresses to get us through the full day in scrumptious vintage style!
Oh, and we have a referral link for you all when you sign up for eShakti's mailing list! How would you have styled this dress?

Ladies, really has got to be one of my favourite vintage fashion posts of 2013. You each look exquisitely lovely in your classically tailored eShakti dresses.

What pretty dresses! I love how each of you styled yours differently! :)
ReplyDeleteOh ladies! I loved this post!!! Such fun pictures and great inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE to own one of these dresses and put a fun belt and unique pair of shoes with it!
I will soon check out the store and possibly take advantage of the code! Thanks so much!

It's so fun to see how you each styled your dress! :D You all are so lovely and vintage.
ReplyDeleteHow would I have styled it? Hm...I think it would look cute with a red belt and matching red wedges (kind of what Cassie was saying!).
How beautiful! Your photos are beautiful--and so are your dresses! Thank you so much for sharing this with us, and for telling us about eShakit. I've never heard of that site before, but I am continually looking for places that sell vintage style, modest dresses. I'm excited, and hope to take advantage of the $30 off!
ReplyDeleteReally cute. I normally think of khaki as being summery, but I love how you each gave the outfit a unique autumn feeling.
ReplyDeleteI would style my dress like Jessica did. I like her vest too! I was not familiar with eShakit before, so thank you for introducing me to them. I am always looking for modest, beautiful tailored dresses.
ReplyDeleteI think the dresses are all lovely! I especially like Jessica's :)
ReplyDeleteJust noticed, you're going to be at Nationals this November? So am I! Though, not as a volunteer, but a Junior qualifier! :) (Btw, Brigid, I saw/met you briefly in the family fun area last year, though we didn't know. :) You very likely wouldn't remember, but I was the girl with a red/burgundy button-down blouse, and long, denim skirt. Anyway...:D)
Oh! How exciting! We're looking forward to being able to meet you (officially. :)! You must come up and introduce yourself if you have the chance!
