Can you believe that the challenge is almost over? I guess that after participating in past fashion events that last for a week or more, a 3 day challenge seems pretty short ;) It was so fun co-hosting this event with Ashley, Olivia, and Callie! We have been so encouraged by all of you participating, as well. Thank you, everyone :D Seeing your creativity and personal styles has been very neat, and we've enjoyed every minute of it.

"I was inspired to dress a little lighter for today; lighter as in, going to the beach, lighter. The woven stripes in my button down make for such a nice nautical look, but what to do about the victorian collar and cuffs? Fold them under and up of course! Brilliant. I chose a raspberry pink cami to go underneath, bringing a flow to the whole outfit, and enhancing the pops of color in my skirt. Oh yes, if you have already guessed, this skirt is almost identical to the one Brigi wore for the challenge on day 1, only mine is of warmer hues.
We will be going out shoe shopping later, so why not skip around in my pretty blue Toms and ModCloth necklace while I'm out? I think that is reasonable. I don't often chose to wear necklaces (they seem to always dangle unpleasantly and tangle when I wear them) but today is a special exception. As for shoe-shopping, we are splurging on some new, and badly needed, performance shoes! Huzzah! We are hoping to invest in a more sturdy, reliable pairs this time around, with the idea that they will last longer than the previous pair. We shall see!"

I can't believe the challenge is already over! It has been so much seeing how you all styled your various blouses and button-downs! We'll have to do this again sometime!"

"I am so excited to be able to sport my first items from ThredUp ($10 off your first order if you use this link!) in this outfit! Both my sweater & skirt are originally from J. Crew, but I got them at a bargain price via the affore-mentioned online thrift shop. I love how my super flowy skirt complements the colors of my sweater, while the chambray of my blouse gives off a very resort-wear, casual type of feel. I finished off the look with my kelly green TOMS, vintage choker, and stylish cat-eyes."
Have a fantastic rest of your weekend! Don't forget to check out Ashley, Olivia, and Callie's outfits as well; and link up how you styled your button-down below, or share on instagram with the hashtag #1top3days

This was SO MUCH FUN! Great day 3 outfits! Jessica's necklace and came really do make the shades of pink in her skirt pop. I love that effect! Brigid's denim looks so casual and comfortable, yet the tucked in shirt makes it look nice and neat and still dressy in a way. Charlottes sunglasses are cute and I am in love with her flowy skirt!!
