Brigid's Birthday Party // Part 3

So, today, dear readers, we have part 3 of my Birthday Party! And what could be the subject of this post but the Par-tay?

Ready? Let's Dance!

Never mind, no dancing yet! Food and fellowship first!

What are you looking at?

I must say, the food was amazing, the fellowship delightful, the friends fantastic; the blessings of everything and everyone were overwhelming!

Dad gave me a special gift, that he gave to Jessica on her Big birthday party. It was a gift that could not be felt, heard, or smelt. It can only be seen throughout the rest of our lives. He gave me his blessing, through the words of our Heavenly Father as found in Numbers 6:24-26. It is not a blessing specific to me, or any one person. Rather it is a blessing for the people of God. But, for my birthday, it was a blessing for me, in a special way that only a father can bestow on his child. So, just as God blessed His children, the children of Israel, through the mouth of Moses, my earthly father blessed me with the same words.

Thank you Dad, for that gift. I will treasure it beyond years.

Okay, "sniff, sniff," I'm through with the sentimentalism. NOW LET'S DANCE!

Yes, we had a LOT of cake!

Yes, I blew out every last one with one go! It helps to have a round cake. :)

Then we had more dancing...

Fellowship...

Ridiculous fun!...

But the evening had to come to an end. It was beautiful, wonderful, everything a girl could ask for in a birthday celebration. Thank you Mom and Dad for giving me the joy of having such a celebration.

It was magnificent!
