SOOooo, that thing I was talking about at the beginning of this post... the reason for why we have four new vintage clothing advertisers this month...
If you have been following us since earlier this summer, you may just remember in the back of your mind a certain week long event we held, oh, at the end of May, that was topped off with a fabulous contest at the end of the week. And all of you loved the event so much that you begged for us to do it again... Well, my dears, your wish is granted!
The ever so popular How We Wear Vintage series is returning for the Holidays! And guess what? Not only will we be putting a Christmas spin on all of our posts (what did they wear in the 30's for Christmas anyways?), but we will be holding a fantabulous Polyvore contest at the very end to find the four very best vintage Christmas ensembles that you lovely ladies can come up with! Are you excited?!? Because we certainly are! You can mark your calendars for the week of the 15th of this month, December, because that is when the festivities will officially begin. We'll be announcing more details about schedule, etc. Saturday the 13th (next week!) so you'll have a few days warning. ;)

Eeep! I am very excited about How We Wear Vintage!!!! I think that that's my favorite series you ladies have done. Can't wait to see the Christmas edition! Oh, and my favorite outfit is most definitely the Autumn Picnic. I love it with that headband!

ReplyDeleteI also wanted to tell you girls (and your readers) about a prayer date tonight at 8pm EST for persecuted Christians around the world. I organized it with some friends, and we'd like to have a lot of people join us. We aren't actually meeting, just doing it in our own homes, but I believe the verse "Where two or more are gathered together in My name, there I am in the midst of them" applies to gathering together in Spirit, too!
I hope you girls will join us! This is a really important subject!
