The Flower Parlor // VOL. 11

Hello everyone!
Today I have a stunning two sided bouquet! I have often made bouquets like this one with my friend Nellie, but have not yet had the chance to bring one home to show you all. Lets see what it looks like.

Don't you just love the bright orange accents? Now I know I have said before that I really do not like the glaringly bright flower arrangements; however, when the brights are mixed with the dulls, it can create a lovely eye-catching affect.

See what I mean? We have the lovely orange straw flower centered in the middle of many different shades of green; however it is not alone. It is surrounded by little bits of yellow-greens and cool periwinkles. Have any of you seen or felt a straw flower before? It really does feel like crisp, dry straw!

Side #1 includes bright accents, while...

side #2 displays a more welded pallet of color with the aid of the fuchsia dahlia.

Or this side?

I can't wait to show you next week's bouquet; its my own creation of flowers that are gathered from around our house! Yay!

Stay tuned!

  1. I love the first side! It is more of a wild flower look than a fancy look without the gladiolas. The ageratum is wonderful!
Cant wait for next week! Thanks for sharing!

  2. Hi Cassie!
I love the ageratum too! And do you know? I actually stumbled upon some wild ageratum just this afternoon! Yay! I love discovering new wild flowers around our house, especially the kind that I have worked with and grown to love!

    Thanks for stopping by!

    Blessings,
