Oh goody! I have a video to share with you all!
After a few questions about my hair several weeks ago, I decided I would film a video to show you all my routine for Hair and Make-up. So, without further ado, here it is:
Products used in the video:
Hair: Flaxseed hair gel (see below for recipe link), Drugstore comb.
Make-Up: Mary Kay eyeshadow and blush; Covergirl Mascara; Random Bobby Pin. ;P

Here is the link to the recipe for the flaxseed hair gel that I mentioned above and in the video. If you didn't watch the video, I apply this gel to my hair while it is wet, to add a little bit of control to my curls so they don't frizz up all over the place on me. ;)

Now, I know the above picture might look disgusting to some of you, but really, as I said in the video, this gel is AMAZING! I can even apply it to dry hair and it will smooth it down quite nicely, as well as marshal my curls into order. Plus it's all natural, with no nasty chemicals added, and the only fragrance being that of the Palmarosa Essential oil that I added.

I hope you all enjoyed watching the video, and let me know if you have any questions!
What is your morning "get-ready" routine?
Do you wear make-up everyday?
What type of hair do you have? Curly? Stick-straight? Wavy?
Blessings,
Brigid
The Middle Sister and Singer
P.S. I want to give you all a heads up, that I am extending the link-up for "Finding Your Style // Personal Style", since I realize I didn't give you all enough time to both find your style, and link up your outfit. SO, plan on linking up your outfit sometime next week, and if you do, you'll be featured on the "SUCCESS!" post.

Great tutorial! and I also use flaxseed hair gel!!
ReplyDeleteso excited to know that I'm not the only one:) only I have stick straight hair
so I use it to give my hair volume. I have a question though, how to you strain your flaxseeds? usually I have trouble separating the gel from the seed. Thanks! ~ Michalle
That is so cool! During the Regency Era, I know ladies would use lin-seed oil. I like this idea!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the recipe! I make homemade hair everything ALL the time!
