Flower Parlor // VOL. 4

Hello everyone,
This week's bouquet was designed with a lavender/white color theme in mind. Oddly enough, the bouquet matched my outfit, and though I normally stay away from the purple pallet, I do like the colors on me every once in a while; but most especially I adore them in a bouquet.

Anatomy: Feverfew (edges), Yarrow (fuchsia/white on the edges),  Cosmos (large-petaled and scattered all throughout), Daisies (scattered),  Dianthus (the bright fuchsia clusters), Snapdragons (elevated white/burgundy), Gomphrenas (small bright fuchsia fuzzy globes), and Zinnias (green with layered petals).
We were not able to put up the normal "Anatomy of the Bouquet" due to some slight errors on our part,  so please forgive the long list! We will have the normal one up next week. Promise.
Lets get retro!
Charlotte really has outdone herself with this shot! Its just popping with light one moment, but looking deeper, you find subtlety in the form of the bouquet through the shadows.
Tip #3) Although Feverfew is a great filler in bouquets, it can also be used medicinally as a pain reliever for headaches.
Tip #4) When using Cosmos in a bouquet, don't ever crowd them (they smash easily)! Instead, elevate them above the other flowers. This allows the eyes to wander over the whole bouquet.
Have you been experimenting with the flowers you find around your house? Have you discovered anything new and exciting about flowers? If you have, feel free to comment below and share your surprises with me!

    1. Thanks for the comment!
No, I did not grow these in our garden. However this lovely gal did: thatgirlsflowers.com. Nellie is her name, and she and I have been bouqueting her flowers for their market stand for the various Farmer Markets her family is apart of. They live really close, and its been such fun getting to know flowers better with her good knowledge and experience!

      Thanks for stopping by!
      Love,
