Lilla Rose Review & Giveaway! [CLOSED]

A few weeks ago, our good friend Paula Ramm contacted us via Facebook about hosting a Lilla Rose giveaway & review. We were thrilled at the opportunity, having purchased some of their clips before and enjoying them! Lilla Rose is a company curating unique, practical, comfortable, and beautiful hair accessories. They have a variety of types ranging from their signature Flexi-Clips and Flexi-Oh!-s, to Hair Bands, You-Pins, Bobbie Pins, Hair Sticks and badge holders. Mrs. Ramm sent us a flexi and headband to review for you all, along with a special opportunity for you our readers!

One of the products Mrs. Ramm sent us was a flexi of our choice of size and style. We selected the Freestyle Princess Tiara in the Mini size, as all of we girls have short hair, and thus not much to put up ;) Read what we have to say about this lovely accessory below!

Charlotte Thought: I love the Freestyle Princess Tiara clip for its practical glamour. The vast assortment of bling-y beads and the elegant pendant in the middle adds a dash of pretty to either your hair, or a scarf, like the way I styled it. Because of its subdued color story, the Freestyle Princess Tiara will go with almost anything in my wardrobe!


Brigid Thought: When we were first picking out which Flexi to get, I was unsure as to how well the Freestyle Princess Tiara clip would pair with most of my clothes, color-wise. But when we got it in the mail and I tried it on, I knew that it was my new go to barrette. I love how the Flexi clip interjects a bit of sparkle and color, where I normally would just have a "hopefully invisible" bobby pin. The Flexi holds my hair quite securely (I am SO glad we got a mini! My hair is way too thin for any other size to work for my "pinned up bangs" hairstyle), and I have worn it for a full day without it falling out once! And I even forgot that I wasn't wearing my usual bobby pin! I really recommend getting a Flexi if you want a barrette that will add a bit of color, femininity and originality to an otherwise ordinary hairstyle.


Jessica Thought: I adore the Freestyle Princess Tiara Mini Flexy for its mix-match assortment of colored beads! It really goes beautifully with all of my outfits! If there is one practical thing I like to do when choosing my accessories, it would be to choose the thing that goes with everything.

The second item that Mrs. Ramm sent was a Hair Band of our choice. We selected the Smokey Topaz Hair Band, and love the results! Read below to find out why:

Charlotte Thought: Out of all of the accessories that we got, I think that the Smokey Topaz Hair Band I will wear the most. Its stretchy elastic band allows flexibility and comfort, so much so that I forgot I was even wearing it though out the day! The mod glamour and practical color makes this hair band my favorite out of our entire selection!


Brigid Thought: Alright, I have to say my first impression of the Smoky Topaz Hair Band wasn't the greatest for one reason: I was having a Bad Hair Day! I tried it on, and my hair just looked... um... let's just say I wouldn't want my hair to look like that in public. :)

After quite a bit of convincing, I put it on again, and you know what, I actually like it! As long as I don't have my bangs pulled back with the headband, it looks quite nice, and I definitely think I will be wearing the Smoky Topaz Hair Band again.

Jessica Thought: There are three things I love very much about the Smoky Topaz Hair Band: the crisp warm color that matches my hair almost perfectly and everything I wear; the dainty size of the beads; and best of all, it's so very comfortable!!! I have never worn a more snug-fitting yet comfortable headband in all my years of wearing headbands!
