Good day! I hope you all are having a wonderful week! Today I have an outfit to share with you all, centered around a graphic T-shirt (something I hardly ever wear).

Here's the story about this T-shirt: My Dad has a client called Liquid Wrench, who is a sponsor for the "Life-Sized Mouse Trap", a show that tours around the U.S. stopping at different fairs and events, mainly Maker Faires. So, Dad recently went to the worldwide Maker Faire in N.Y. for his work, and when he came home he brought all of us ladies some "Mouse Trap" T-shirts, one of which I am wearing for this outfit.

Like I said above, I hardly EVER wear graphic T-shirts, so it was a wee bit tricky trying to figure out how to style it without it looking, well, like a graphic T-shirt. Since it was such a "rugged" T-shirt, with the bomb on the front, and the black Typography, I decided to make it more feminine by adding my vintage crocheted collar. And now that Fall is upon us I added my navy blue sweater, which you might notice I am wearing oddly (I just buttoned one of the buttons behind me, rather than in front, so it looked like a shrug from the front, and a regular sweater from the back) to keep the chills out.

How do you wear graphic T-shirts?
Have you ever used a book as an accessory? ;)
What's one of your favorite outfits you've worn recently?
Blessings,
Brigid

Super cute!! I love graphic tee's but I have a hard time wearing them femininely, love your idea to pair it with a cute skirt and a cardigan! :)

I love how you styled your graphic tee! I've been loving wearing graphic tees with skirts lately...I think they're so fun and comfy.(:

How I love that skirt! Great find! Yes, I never wear graphic tees either but I love how you kept your style up without going frump with it! :) Great one button idea! Thanks! Bek and I will hopefully be doing some photos with our vintage book collection for the fall!

I love this out fit Brigid! I never would have thought of styling a graphic tee in this way. I usually wear my graphic tees with jeans, sweat pants, or pj pants. So I don't usually wear them for anything except exercise, yard work, and sleeping. But I have worn my Captain America graphic tee with a burgundy skirt since the graphic has burgundy in it and I liked it. I never would have thought of adding a collar. I bet a statement necklace would also be great with a graphic tee too. I wore this outfit to church last Sunday. Its an old favorite with an added twist. :) http://singinginhisname.blogspot.com/2013/09/new-to-me-vintage-hat.html
