15 x 15 Remix| Days 4 & 5

So sorry we weren't able to post our outfits yesterday. We were gone all day picking up this little guy! Here's another pic just in case you didn't get enough cuteness from the last post of our newest (doggy) member of the family.

What a CUTIE!

Day 4:

What we wore:

Charlotte:
Cardigan (traded out for capris): Forever 21
T-shirt: Land's End
Skirt: Made by Charlotte
Sandals: Target
Headband: Made by Charlotte

Brigid:
T-shirt: Land's End
Skirt: Refashioned by me, from Mom
Collar: Vintage store
Sandals (not shown): Kohl's

For yesterday, I wanted something casual and comfy for a day of driving in the car. But, to be creatively vintage and comfy at the same time, I added the collar. By the way, I LOVE the unattached collar trend from last fall (winter?), but I wasn't able to find/make a collar until I came upon this little bit of vintage crochet work!
As for Charlotte's outfit; she also wanted something comfy, but with a pop of color. And wow, did she make a ray of, um, orange sunshine?! Gotta love Charlotte's bravery with mixing prints and colors! I have such a hard time trying out new combinations from my closet, that's why I love this challenge, because it makes you rethink the combinations you've made in the past  with your clothes, and try to make new ones.

Day 5

Charlotte wanted a shabby chic look for today.

So stylish! :)

I didn't want to show my face today did I?

What we wore:

Charlotte:
T-shirt: Land's End
Cardigan (traded out for turquoise shirt): Forever 21
Skirt: Made by Mom
Sandals: Target
Hat: Saks Fifth Avenue
Skinny Belt: Target

Brigid:
T-shirt: Made by me
Skirt: See above "day 4"
Sandals: Kohl's
Hat: Kohl's
Necklace: Gift from my Grandma

So, today, it was one of those "wear what you don't really want to wear so that the things you do want to wear tomorrow can be washed!" A.K.A Laundry day outfit. Normally, I don't have a laundry day outfit, but if you're doing a fashion challenge with a limited amount of clothes, you have to.

Hope you all have a great day,

Blessings,

Brigid
on behalf of herself and sister Charlotte.
