At last, I was able to have outfit photos taken while it was snowing! It may sound rather petty, but I am almost constantly thinking about how nice it would be to take a picture here- or how fabulous the lighting is there- or how romantic it would be to take photos of someone while it is snowing.
Thanks Mom! Yes, it was she who took pretty much all of these lovely things. I think she did a fabulous job!

| you probably couldn't tell- but a little bit of a scrimmage of small dog + monster bear vs. people was going on while we were taking these... thus the big bo-bear in the background ;) |

So onto what this post is really about-
I've been admiring the more edgy-preppy-classy look lately, and have been desiring to replicated it in one of my outfits. Well the "stars aligned" and I came up with this! I originally wasn't wearing the scarf along with the rest of it; but when we were getting ready to go our homeschool co-op, it was too cold not to wear something around my neck- so I put on this scarf, and when I took off my coat I thought it would be just fine to leave the accessory, so I did. Personally, I think it finished it off :)
What are your favorite types of styles?
Classy? Preppy? Bohemian? Vintage?

You look lovely! Aren't circle skirts the best? Until it comes time to hem or iron the hem of course, it's a loooong way 'round! =)
ReplyDeleteHaha, yeah! Thankfully this skirt isn't so bad when it comes to ironing... It's just a matter of getting the creases in the hem to stay down and not fold up again :P

The outfit contrast against the snow is beautiful and striking :)
ReplyDeleteYou were right....the snow makes it a lovely photo!
ReplyDeleteOOh it looks cold! But it's lovely! Love the scarf. I never know how to wear mine and they sit unused a lot. Of course, that may also be because it's almost never cold here.
